Do Macbook Start Up Discs Only Work For The Macbook They Came With?

I just bought a MacBook and used to restore your computer to the factory, but the seller does not unfortuneately restoration / boot disk. My brother, however, a MacBook Pro with boot disks, I wonder whether it is compatible with my MacBook? Where can I find some Macbook boot disk, or simply live with the profile so other people. . ?

NO, apple has different codes that they use. However, you can go and buy a operating system, disk.

most work with a series the os is the same just the drivers might not be included
so it’s best to get the right disks to ensure your system works correctly
